Last Friday, Bellarmine University’s Department of Theology & Religious Studies and Ethics and Social Justice Center hosted a special panel discussion on Dr. Lewis Brogdon’s book, “The Gospel Beyond the Grave.” Many from all over the state of Kentucky were in attendance.

Panelists included: Lewis Brogdon (BSK Theological Seminary), Darvin Adams (Simmons College of Kentucky), Justin Klassen (Bellarmine University), Mark Medley (BSK Theological Seminary).

Together, these scholars will wrestled with urgent questions: What is Christianity’s ultimate vision of justice? Does the promise of heaven offer balm for the wounds of racial injustice? What role does eschatological hope play in moving us toward God’s justice now?
